Mediation fees vary depending on the amount in controversy and the number of parties. For a two-party mediation, fees will generally start at the following:
- Half-day: $1,000 per party
- Full-day: $2,000 per party
Arbitration/Special Judge

Fees will vary depending on the amount in controversy and the number of parties. For a two-party arbitration, fees will generally start at the following:
Pre-hearing and post-hearing:
$500/hour, split evenly among the parties
Final Hearing:
$4,000/day, split evenly among the parties
Travel
Within Harris County: Parking expenses only
Outside Harris County: $300/hour and reasonable travel expenses, split evenly among parties
Cancellation:
More than 5 days before hearing: No charge
Within 5 days of a final hearing: $2,500, split evenly among the parties
